Envalira 22 Km

The U19 categories and subcategories U20, O40 and O50 are eligible for the Multisegur Assegurances Copa d'Andorra de Curses de Montanya.

The route is of high difficulty, so that the most daring runners can take on the challenge of a Trail Running event at the highest altitude in Andorra!

We'll set off from the church square at Pas de la Casa along the Directa 1 trail to the CBBC restaurant. We continue our ascent along the Port trail until we reach the Port d'Envalira, the highest pass in the Pyrenees at 2409 m altitude. This is where we'll find our first refreshment point, and then continue our ascent to Pic Maià. Once up there, we'll enjoy the wild mountain scenery and begin the first descent to find the GRP trail that will take us to the village of Bordes d'Envalira. At the end of the first descent and arriving next to the TSD6 Pla de les Pedres, we'll find the second refreshment point, where we'll need to regain our strength to continue climbing, first on the Solanelles XL trail and then on the GRP path that will take us to the Premier lac de Pessons, where we'll continue downhill until we reach Grau Roig. This is where we'll find the third refreshment point, where we'll need to refill our water reserves and eat, as the climb will be long without refreshment points. We start the climb on the Pastora path, then turn right to continue the ascent to the Coma III area. We continue up to Coll Blanc, where the fourth refreshment point is located, with an unbeatable panoramic view of the Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig mountains. From here, we start the third descent until we reach the path to Lac d'Abelletes. The fourth ascent of the day takes us to the refuge of the former Snow Park, where we can enjoy a mountain landscape unique in the Pyrenees. We'll then start an easy descent to the Lac des Abelletes, where we'll find the fifth refreshment station to give us the strength we need for the final part of the race. From the lake, we continue downhill along the Coll dels Isards trail, following the Arieja river. Finally, participants will reach Grandvalira's snow garden, where they will follow a trail to the finish at Pas de la Casa, bringing an epic race to a close!
